We carried out a research project to look at the issue of homelessness amongst LGBTQ+ young people.

We wanted to develop further understanding of this group, who are one of the most marginalised, stigmatised and excluded, and sadly, largely invisible.

Making homeless LGBTQ+ young people visible to housing and homelessness providers and to the general public is the first step in making a difference for a group that, so far, has been neglected and overlooked.

The research was a collaboration with the University of Kent.
