At the BeYou Project we provide support and virtual groups for young LGBT+ people across Kent and Medway. If you identify as a young LGBT+ person then you are welcome and we’d love to hear from you.
BeYou virtual groups
Our virtual groups are safe spaces for young people who are, or think they might be LGBT+. You can meet new people who share some of the same feelings and experiences as you, socialise or just hang out in a safe and non-judgemental setting. We play games and interactive activities, and we can talk about LGBT+ issues as well as other subjects.
Virtual group timings
Age 13 – 17: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5pm – 6pm
Age 18 – 25: Wednesday 5.30pm – 6.30pm
1 – 1 support
If you want to join a group but don’t feel ready yet, we can offer 1-1 support. Our friendly trained staff will listen to any issues you might be having around gender identity or sexual orientation and can provide support advice and guidance to help you.
How to join a group or get 1-1 support
If you are interested in joining a group or want 1-1 mentoring email us at email@example.com.
From there, someone from our friendly team will get in touch and get to know you. You won’t have to share anything you are not comfortable with; we just need to get in touch so we can make sure the groups remain safe spaces for everyone.
If you are under 13 we can still support you. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from our team will get in touch with you.
