Quick Exit

Canterbury and Coastal – Canterbury, Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay

We’re running a weekly meet-up in your area. These are safe spaces that anyone who thinks they might be LGBT+ can come along to.

You can meet new people who share some of the same feelings and experiences as you, socialise and just hang out in a safe and non-judgemental setting.

When? What time? Where?
Every Monday 4-6pm Prince of Wales Youth Centre, 23 Military Road, Canterbury CT1 1YX

Please note: this group will not be running on the 29th July or 5th August 2019.
Over these two weeks, the team will be running summer activities across the county instead!
All activities are free to attend, although you may need to bring a packed lunch to some.
To find out what’s on and sign up to activities, email beyou@porchlight.org.uk

Normal group sessions will resume on the 12th of August 2019.

To find out more about our groups, please email beyou@porchlight.org.uk.

If you live in this area, you can also use the online counselling platform Kooth. Just go to www.kooth.com to setup a free account – once you’re signed up you can talk to trained counsellors online, read articles written by other young people, get support from the Kooth community and write in your own online journal. The service is free, safe and anonymous.
